Beef noodle soup

250g beef
1 carrot
1 medium onion
1 cup noodles
2 cloves garlic
2 tablespoons curly leaf parsley
½-1 cup leek
1 tablespoon beef flavor bouillon powder
2 teaspoons olive oil
3 cups water
Salt and pepper to taste


Prepare ingredients; slice carrot, onion and leek; chop curly leaf parsley; mince garlic, put aside

Wash beef, season with salt and pepper

In a saucepan over medium heat, bring oil to boil. Add garlic and beef. Cook beef until lightly browned, about 5 minutes

Add onion, cook for another 2-3 minutes, or until onions are soft

Add carrot, leek and curly leaf parsley. Cook for another 2 minutes

Add 3 cups of water and beef flavor bouillon powder. Cook until boiled

Cover pot with a lid, cook on low heat for about 20 minutes, or until beef is tender

Add in pasta. Cook according to packet instructions; most likely 7-9 minutes

Add more water is it is too thick. Adjust salt if needed
