Chocolate Chip Cookies

3 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
2/3 cups unsalted butter, at room temperature
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 1/4 cups light brown sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 large eggs, at room temperature
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips


Add the flour, baking soda and salt into a large mixing bowl. Mix well, put aside

In another large bowl beat together the eggs, butter, granulated sugar, light brown sugar and vanilla until light (you can either use a machine or without a machine)

Add the dry ingredients mixture into the wet ingredients mixture until well incorporated

Fold in the chocolate chips. Cover and refrigerate the dough for 24 hours or more.

Divide the dough into 3-tablespoon sized balls. Place on a baking sheet

Bake for 12-15 minutes in a preheated oven over 175 degrees; or until golden brown. Cool for 5 minutes before removing to wire racks to cool completely.
