Cheesy-Beef-Avocado Burger

For the beef

500g minced meat
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2-4 slices of sandwich cheese

For topping

2-4 soft sesame buns
Butter for frying the buns
1 medium onion
1 large tomato
Green leaf lettuce (you can choose your favorite lettuce)
An avocado (optional)
Hamburger sauce and BBQ sauce (optional)


Slice onion, tomato and avocado; wash, slice and dry lettuce with paper towers, put aside

Divide beef into 2-4 balls depending on the size of your buns; gently squeeze down to flatten into patties. Season beef with salt and paper

In a frying pan over medium high heat, bring oil to boil. Place beef; salt and pepper-side down, on the frying pan. Season the other side with salt and pepper

Let beef cook undisturbed for 3 to 4 minutes. Turn and cook until the other side is cooked to your liking

Top beef with cheese during the last 30 seconds of cooking or until it melts; cover the pan

Slice sesame buns in half. Spread butter on cut-side

On a pan over medium heat, place sesame buns butter-side down. Cook until  lightly charred

Place beef on the buns; top with the rest of the ingredients or your choice of ingredients

Enjoy your burger!
