Banana Pancakes

INGREDIENTS

For the pancakes

2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
3/4 cup buttermilk
1/4 cup sour cream
3 tablespoon granulated sugar
3 tablespoon brown sugar
1 1/2 cups mashed overripe bananas 
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoon unsalted butter , melted

For the glaze

1/2 cup cream cheese 
4 tablespoon butter , softened
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
6 tablespoon milk (plus more; or less if needed)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

Sift the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon and salt into a large mixing bowl with a sieve

In another large bowl, whisk together buttermilk, sour cream, granulated sugar, brown sugar, mashed bananas, egg, vanilla and melted butter until well combined

Pour the mixture into the dry ingredients. Mix until combined

On a nonstick pan over low-medium heat. Pour ΒΌ cup of batter onto the pan. Cook until the underside is golden and bubbles begin to appear on the surface

Flip the pancake to the other side. Spread some butter on the cooked side



Flip again to the other side and spread butter too. Cook until cooked through

While the pancakes are cooking, mix together cream cheese and butter until fluffy. Stir in powdered sugar, milk and vanilla; mix until smooth

Drizzle the glaze over the pancakes
