Cauliflower soup

¼ head cauliflower
1 large carrot
1 tablespoons butter
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon ginger and garlic
1½ teaspoons vegetable seasoning
2 cups of hot water
½ cups cooking cream
Pepper to taste


Break cauliflower into small florets; peel and slice carrots; peel and chop onion; peel and grate ginger; peel and mince garlic

In a sauce pan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add in the garlic and ginger for a minute or two then add the onion for about 3 minutes.

Add cauliflower and carrot, cook for a few minutes. Season with vegetable seasoning and pepper

Lower the heat, pour in the hot water. Simmer for 10-15 minutes or until all vegetables are tender.

Remove from heat and let it cool for 5 minutes, then put the mixture into a blender or food processor to make puree

Return the mixture in a saucepan over medium heat, add the cooking cream. Let it cook for a few minutes

Serve as desired.
