Korean-style BBQ Beef

Ingredients

700g tender beef of your choice
1 large onion
1 teaspoon garlic
½ pear
3 spring onions
3 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon black pepper
⅓ cup soy sauce 
3 tablespoons sesame oil
1 tablespoon olive oil
Sesame seeds for garnish
Salt if needed

Instructions

Thinly slice beef into strips; set aside in a large bowl

Prepare ingredients. Cut one half of the onion into chunks and the other half into thin slices; peel and roughly chop pear; peel garlic; cut 1 spring onion into pieces and slice the other 2 into small rounds

Place the onion chunks, garlic, pear, green onion pieces, brown sugar, pepper, soy sauce, and sesame oil in a blender, blend until smooth. Pour the marinade over the beef

Add the thinly sliced onion, toss well to coat. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the fridge for at least 1 hour, or overnight

In a frying pan over medium high heat, bring the oil to boil.  Add the marinated beef

Cook until browned and cooked to your liking

Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy with rice
