Creamy mashed potatoes

500g potatoes

1 litre water
½ cup milk

2 tablespoons butter
Salt to taste



Wash, peel and dice potatoes into big pieces

Place potatoes in a cooking pan; add room temperature/cold water, bring to boil

Add salt when water boils. Boil until potatoes are completely cooked

Pass potatoes through a fine sieve

Add milk and butter to reach your desired consistency

Serve hot
