Beef-Broccoli-Noodle Stir Fry

For sauce

3 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon sesame oil
1/2 teaspoon red chili flakes (optional)

Beef and broccoli

300g entrecôte or beef sirloin
250g  noodles
2 cups broccoli
1 teaspoon garlic and ginger paste
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste


Thinly slice beef into strips; mince garlic; grate ginger and cut broccoli into florets, put aside

In a mixing bowl add meat, garlic and ginger paste, 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt and pepper. Mix well and cover to marinate for 10 minutes

While beef is marinating, cook noodles according to packet instructions

Add broccoli 2-3 minutes before the noodles are cooked

Drain and refresh noodles under cold water. Toss in a little oil, put aside. In a medium bowl, whisk together  soy sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil and red chili flakes until dissolved

In a wok over medium high heat, add the remaining 1 tablespoon olive oil and beef; stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until cooked to your liking

Add the noodles and broccoli, mix well

Add the sauce mixture and toss to mix thoroughly

Serve hot
