Crispy Plantain fries

3 large Plantains
1-2 cup breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper
Enough oil for deep frying


Peel and cut the plantains into the shape of fries; season with salt and pepper

In a large pan over medium high heat, bring cooking oil to boil. While oil is boiling, coat plantain pieces with the breadcrumb. Using your fingers, press the breadcrumb so the coating sticks

Fry for 2 minutes on one side and 1 minute on the other or until golden brown

Remove from oil, transfer to a plate lined with paper towels for the excess oil to absorb
